Hey, I'm Rachel
My first birth was traumatic! It left me with lots of fear and anxiety surrounding pregnancy and birth.
When it came time for baby number two I was terrified of a repeat experience. Thankfully I had a close friend who also happened to be a doula. I honestly didn’t really think I needed a doula and wasn’t quite sure what they did but I trusted her and she had such an optimistic view about the whole process I figured it would be worth a try.
It ended up being the best experience! Even though it did not go according to plan I left that birth 100% satisfied. These experiences left me with an overwhelming desire to educate and empower women in the same way that she had done for me. And now here I am living out that dream.
